Born from the recent merger of three companies in the demolition industry, Paradoxe Deconstruction hired us for the complete redesign of a three-storey building in the industrial district of Lachine. Thanks to this trust from our client, Paradoxe’s new head office gives employees a dynamic setting that reflects the company’s values and image.
The spaces in this project carry references to the industry, particularly through raw materials, including the wall of reclaimed demolition brick behind the reception area. The mix of various recycled materials with furniture and other more contemporary design elements creates a highly welcoming office atmosphere.
Designed with collaboration in mind, the perimeter of the open space includes a series of small meeting rooms and acoustically optimized booths to accommodate the varied needs of employees. To support quality of life and team cohesion, coffee counters for sharing were strategically placed throughout the office areas.
