Welcome to the Ile-Cadieux residence, a dream space worthy of its setting.
The owners had a very clear mission for us: this blue house, with its breathtaking view of Lac des Deux-Montagnes and its lot surrounded by mature trees, deserved to live up to its location.
They asked us to step in at every level to see this project through: beyond a complete renovation, an addition at the rear made it possible to add two bedrooms upstairs and a bright family room on the main floor. While respecting the original character, the central staircase and the natural stone fireplace, the whole home reflects a warm sense of cohesion.
Outside, the natural wood structure of the balcony echoes the rustic charm of the original architecture while perfectly capturing the welcoming, warm character of the owners. This was a love story from A to Z for us, as we fell for our clients’ vision of an all-black house that we affectionately nicknamed “The Black House.”
